Auto-ID Lab. CJK Workshop Held in Hiroshima
On January 18 and 19, 2007, fifth Auto-ID Labs CJK workshop was held at International Conference Center in Hiroshima, Japan. The Auto-ID Labs CJK workshop is a workshop jointly organized by three Auto-ID Labs located in East Asia (CJK is an abbreviation of China, Japan, and Korea). It started in 2005 aiming at sharing of studies of each lab and promoting the collaboration among labs. The fifth CJK workshop was held in Hiroshima, where the SAINT 2007 Networked RFID Workshop was held. About thirty researchers joined the CJK workshop and had five presentation sessions and a discussion session at this time. The topic of the discussion session was RFID Sensor Integration Study, which was initiated among some of the laboratories in Auto-ID Labs last year. Researchers in business/application, network, and hardware areas joined the session and had an intensive argument. The achievement of the study including the discussion at this session will be published as a whitepaper.
