On October 13 and 14, 2007, seventh Auto-ID Labs CJK workshop was held at Hong Kong University in Hong Kong, China. The Auto-ID Labs CJK workshop is a workshop jointly organized by three Auto-ID Labs located in East Asia (CJK is an abbreviation of China, Japan, and Korea). It started in 2005 aiming at sharing of studies of each lab and promoting the collaboration among labs. This time, with the support from Hong Kong RD Center for Logistics and Supply Chain Management Enabling Technologies (LSGM), the workshop was held at Hong Kong University, and guests from LSGM are invited to the workshop. This is a part of new attempts to make the Auto-ID Labs CJK workshop more open and to promote open collaboration among RFID researchers in various organizations. CJK Auto-ID Labs are expecting to announce new projects started from this workshop.
