Auto-ID Labs CJK Workshop at Keio University in Tokyo, Japan
On May 16 and 17, 2008, the eighth Auto-ID Labs CJK workshop was held at Keio University in Tokyo, Japan. The Auto-ID Labs CJK workshop is a workshop jointly organized by three Auto-ID Labs located in East Asia (CJK is an abbreviation of China, Japan, and Korea).
As with our previous workshop, we invited guests from universities in East Asia to this workshop. The number of participants was more than 50 from seven different universities. We had 8 technical sessions with 25 presentations from Auto-ID Labs three research streams, business model/application, software/network architecture, and hardware. We also agreed upon keeping this open policy to leverage information sharing and collaboration among RFID researchers. We are expecting to announce new projects starting from this workshop.
