On November 24 and 25, 2008, the ninth Auto-ID Labs CJK workshop was held at White Beach Hotel in Jeju, Korea. The Auto-ID Labs CJK workshop is a workshop jointly organized by three Auto-ID Labs located in East Asia (CJK is an abbreviation of China, Japan, and Korea).

We invited guests from universities in East Asia to this workshop as we invited in the previous two workshops. The number of participants was more than 50 from seven different universities. We had 5 technical sessions with 25 presentations from Auto-ID Labs' research areas, including presentations from researchers from guest universities. We continue to organize this workshop as information sharing and collaboration opportunity among RFID researchers.
